On Thursday 12 April, we joined forces with local childminder Teresa for a big group trip to Penrose, a National Trust property.
The children were full of smiles as they explored the scenic paths and walkways, playing chase and getting up to plenty of mischief.
After a spot of lunch at the cafe, we had time for a quick game of Teresa Says – which had strange similarities to Simon Says which you may be more familiar with!
The mile-long walk back to the car was enough to tire out the rabble, with only half of them still awake after the short journey to Helston duck pond. After a quick 5 minutes feeding the ducks, we all trooped back to Falmouth ready for pick up time.
A big thank you to Teresa and her children for sharing this lovely day. It was great for the kids to socialise with other children that they hadn’t seen in a while.
